On the inside, it is banal. The most interesting thing about this book that it doesn't go straight to the recipes but it first introduces the Mediterranean diet and how it is useful for a healthy body then it provides the food list for a 14-day meal plan then it goes to the recipes. Whatever the author had to say could have been said in about 15 pages. I felt like i was being welcomed home to my favorite old stomping grounds when I discovered his AMAZING "radio" series and I feel precisely the same way now that he's working in prose.
If you have even a passing interest in old-school heroics, smatterings of screwball comedy and two-fisted action/adventure peopled with crazed villains, mad scientists and malevolent mystics bent on global conquest, you will be doing yourself a massive disservice passing up Mr. The story is exciting and pulls at your heart with the love that devel
