I found Webster's explanations of the ideas of the age to be clear and well documented. In the Preface, Millett quotes Lord Wilberforce who has said "every autobiography is a work of fiction”- well that's not really true at all as the publishers, Wildy, will be relieved to hear!
Millett offers all of us a fascinating factual perspective which discloses the workings of a legal professional at the highest level of the Bar. Certain personality traits Freud possessed would allowed him to backtrack in certain cases to achieve the fame he desired and to tolerate no disagreement once his position of importance was firmly extablished. SOME GREAT LEGAL ANECDOTES WELCOMED AT A TIME OF CHANGE FOR THE BENCH AND THE BAR
